Tayla is a lively 6 year old girl. Her parents and grandparents weren’t able to care for her, so her great grandparents who are in their late 80's took her in and provide a loving home for her.
When they noticed that she was singing, and asking to learn to play piano, they came to MUSE to see if we could figure out a way to help.
Terri Monell of San Luis Obispo had a lovely 1970 Wurlitzer Spinet Piano that she didn’t play anymore, and was looking to make a difference for a little child. When she called MUSE and asked if she could donate it, we said, “we have the perfect little girl that is just waiting to take piano lessons!” Terri got a tax deduction for the market value of her piano, and Tayla got a FREE piano to use for as long as she takes lessons.
